Social Anxiety and How to Get Over it

I was always a shy and reserved type of person when it came to social outtings and school.  I thought it would pass over time but it did not.  I did some searching around the internet and found out that my shyness is actually caused by social anxiety.  Social Anxiety Disorder (SAD) is the actual disease.

My next step was to see how to cure this without the use of mind altering drugs (Xanax, Valium, ect) and expensive cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT).  I came across a site selling a book that claims it will liberate you from SAD.

I was very skeptical at first that a book could magically cure you from years and years of social problems.  I read countless testimonials stating it worked for them, but I remained skeptical since it's really not hard to write hundreds of reviews using arbitrary names and locations.  Anyways, I looked at the price tag and was instantly shocked.  About $110 for a packet of paper.  It's either a risky scam or it really works.

Searching around further, I found it a lot cheaper over at amazon.  It says it's about $50 now but when I got it back in October 2010, it was $30 + $3.99 shipping from Germany.  Amazon said I should get my package in around 30-45 days.  I was furious and said there was no way it'd take that long.  Oh well there was nothing I could do.  About a week later, I got a package via UPS and sure enough, it's there!  I was incredibly happy.

I began reading through the booklets and the exercises and followed the instructions.  At first it didn't do anything because I was still skeptical.  Turns out you need to put full attention to it and believe it will work.  To complete the entire package and to achieve success, it takes over a month.

But How Does This Work?

The exercises in these booklets literally re-program your self-conscious so that you view situations differently.  For example.  When you're the center of attention, someone with SAD will self-consciously and consciously think what people think of you and that they will make fun of you and humiliate you.  It's terrible.  One of the worst feelings ever.  The El-method completely changes this so you don't ever think that way.  It's a life saver!

The el-method has completely changed my life.  I am able to make conversations with people I don't know without any fear of humiliation.  It's so much easier talking to girls and keeping them interested in you.  Overall the el-method is one of the greatest things created for people with social anxiety.  Do you too have SAD or are just overall a shy person?  Check this product out.  You will NOT be disappointed!

Pandora Internet Radio

I am an avid Pandora listener.  If you don't know what Pandora is.. It's an internet radio station where you input your favorite song/artist/album and Pandora's algorithms check and playback music that best fits what you chose. Interested?  Check them out at  That being said, I usually bump into their '40 hour a month' cap really quickly.  I found a really helpful guide that lets you get around that 40 hour cap.

To Reset Pandora Internet Radio, do this:
Log out of Pandora and close your browser.
Open up this location on your computer using My Computer:
(note: replace USER with your profile name that you're logged into the computer as):
C:\Documents and Settings\USER\Application Data\Macromedia\Flash Player\#SharedObjects
Go into this folder by double-clicking it.  In this folder my be one or more folders with seemingly random characters. Go into the sub folder and find the folder named:   Delete it.
Next, go to this location (again replace USER with your profile name):
C:\Documents and Settings\USER\Application Data\Macromedia\Flash Player\\support\flashplayer\sys
Find the folder and Delete it.
Then go to C:\Documents and Settings\USER\Cookies
Delete all the cookies (or just the pandora cookie if you want to save your other cookies)
That's it!  Just restart Pandora and log into the next account that has not expired or create a new account at this point using another email address.  Local information stored on the computer will be removed and your time limit is reset.  Basically you are removing the session information and resetting the saved account total back to 40 hours.  Now Pandora might be saving the account total on their end and there's nothing you can do about that except have more than one account.  The problem is when this session information is saved locally on the computer.  If you log out of a computer and someone else had been using this same computer to listen to Pandora, the hours are totaled up even though there was two or more accounts in use.  This was my issue.  I move around the network working on computers and like to log into Pandora to have some tunage while working.  When one of the office people uses Pandora and they had used up the 40 hours, I was screwed.  Well, I am in control of the computer so I can remove anything stored on it.  So Clearing the Pandora account limit is completely within my control.   Even though I didn't use up my 40 hours someone else did but I was limited to their hours of use.

Hope this helps you all like it has helped me!

No Gas Day is Tomorrow

If you believe that this will do anything you're stupid.  It doesn't matter if someone is not getting gas on a certain day.  They simply get gas on another day causing absolutely no disruption in profits.  Also, gas stations are mainly independently owned and operated.  The station buys its gas at the wholesale rate and they provide the proper markup to net a small profit to remain in business.  So if you were hurting anyone by participating in this 'event' it would be the owners and employees of these said locally owned and operated gas stations.

Last night was a good night

Last night myself and my friend were doing 2v2 games on our level 70 twinks in World of Warcraft.  We run frost mage shadow priest.  We ended up going 19-1 getting up to 2061 rating.  Pretty impressive.  Especially considering my mage still has 3 green items and not a whole lot of resilience.  Out of all games there was absolutely no challenge.  There was one game where we decided to take our chest pieces off and play a match.  I don't know why, it was just funny at the time.  Well, I ended up dying by some heavy burst damage from a destruction warlock.  I gave up hope, tabbed out of WoW and was checking out my facebook.

Meanwhile I hear my friend just start shouting on skype.  I tab into WoW to see he has killed the priest and only the warlock remained.  After about 5 minutes of kiting (he was very low on mana) he killed the warlock and we were victorious!

The game we lost was a legitimate loss.  It was a priest rogue team that was able to apply so much pressure to us that we couldn't do effective damage.  We had the rogue to around 2000 health with the healer CC'd but he cloaked and vanished and was healed to full.  My friend had low mana with no way to get away to drink so we ended up dying and losing 18 points. (Ouch)

I'm a whale oaroaoroaorao
